Chaundra Luckett is the Chief Marketing Officer at CHRIS 180, an Atlanta based nonprofit working to improve our community by providing children, adults and families with high-quality, trauma-informed mental health and wraparound support systems. Prior to arriving at CHRIS 180 in 2018, she worked as the Public Relations Manager at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Before her career pivot to communications, Chaundra was a well-respected journalist, spending 10 years in the television news industry across the Southeast. During her TV career, she was the recipient of numerous awards from the Associated Press, and three Southeast Regional Emmy Awards nominations.
In 2019, she was inducted as a member of the inaugural Forty Under 40 Class presented by PRSA Georgia. In 2020, she won an award of Excellence from PRSA Georgia’s Phoenix Awards for creating and executing CHRIS 180’s Lunchtime Live series during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Chaundra was honored with PRSA Georgia’s George Goodwin Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service. Chaundra is a 17-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and in 2021, she became a Charter Member of the Alpha Alpha Pi Omega Chapter in Gwinnett County, where she serves as the chair of the chapter’s Rituals Committee. In 2023, Chaundra was elected to serve as Ferst Readers Board Chair and serves as a Board Member for the Atlanta Speech School. She is the Scholarship Chair for the Atlanta Chapter of the Bennett College National Alumnae Association and is the Public Relations Chair for the Atlanta HBCU Alumni Alliance. She is a sustainer and past two-term board member of The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. where she led both marketing, communications and member training opportunities for the organization over her 10 active years. She is a graduate of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2019, a member of the LEAD Atlanta Alumni Association, PRSA Georgia, the American Marketing Association and the Promise All Atlanta Children Thrive (PAACT) Communications Committee. Additionally, she serves as a small group coach with the college ministry at Buckhead Church, The Living Room and as a leader with the longest running non-denominational bible study for women in Atlanta, Women’s Community Bible Study (WCBS). Chaundra’s passion is tied to issues impacting women and children, literacy and equity in education for all children.
