Rayna Wooden

Rayna graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications.
Since 1977, the Partnership Against Domestic Violence has worked tirelessly to end intimate partner violence and to empower its survivors. It is the largest nonprofit domestic violence organization in Georgia. The organization works to educate the public on the dynamics of domestic violence; promote healthy dating relationships among adolescents and teens to prevent future violence; offer safety and shelter for battered women and their children; restore power, self-sufficiency, and control to survivors; and create an effective and coordinated community response to intimate partner violence.
In her current role with the Partnership Against Domestic Violence, Rayna manages all of the human resources operations, systems, and programs for the agency, including the coordination, review, and approval of vendor contracts; monitoring and overseeing the agency’s IT needs; providing oversight to the agency’s volunteer program; and assisting with the maintenance and updating of the agency’s website, social media, and monthly newsletter.
Prior to her role at the Partnership Against Domestic Violence, Rayna worked for a hotel marketing firm where she served as the VP or Operations for five years.
Rayna is passionate about the welfare of women and children in her community and volunteers her time with several organizations throughout Atlanta. She is a member of The Junior League of Atlanta where she advises the organization on how to keep their long-term members engaged. Rayna also serves on the Awards and Recognition committee for the Society of Human Resource Management’s Atlanta Chapter.
When Rayna is not working or volunteering, she can be found spending quality time with family or exploring her love of photography. She resides in Lawrenceville with her husband James and her three sons, Kameron, Miles and Preston.
