In her work, Storey has teamed with leading international companies and brands such as Brinker International, Coca-Cola, Cox Communications, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Proctor & Gamble, Philips and Porsche as well as some of the most classic brands (e.g., Goodnight MoonCharlotte’s Web, Maurice Sendak, Shel Silverstein) and leading names in the literary and entertainment worlds, including New York Times bestsellers Isabel Allende, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mary Engelbreit, Neil Gaiman, Emeril Lagasse, Shel Silverstein, Lemony Snicket and Rosemary Wells, among others.

A native Louisianan, Storey is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in English – Creative Writing. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and son.

“I don’t remember a time in my childhood without books – whether it was sitting on my daddy’s lap reading one of the many Little Golden Books my mom picked up at the grocery store, curling up with Ferdinand in my room, or plowing through the latest Sweet Valley High. In fact, I went on to spend most of my career devoted to publishing and putting books into the hands of readers – many of them kids – so the thought of children not having an age-appropriate book in the home is unfathomable.

When I learned about Ferst Readers, I immediately jumped in to help as a volunteer, then as a donor and now as a board member and the mom of a Read Ferst subscription member. Each month, a quality book arrives in our mailbox with creative play suggestions and learning extensions, and I know we’re going to have a meaningful reading experience. It’s something every parent and child should have the opportunity to share together.”
